I am having the same problem.
Do this files contain the code written a little bit further in the guide or is
there more in them ?

You should checkout the Embed API:

Want I want to do is :
Provide stats about specific events directly and pubicly on my web site.
I think that with the Google Analitics Embed API, I will only be able to show
stats only to administratifs.
Am i wrong ?

Then what you want is server-side auth:
https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/embed-api/server-side-authorization/

The best place to ask questions about using and developing with Google
Analytics APIs, libraries, and SDKs is on Stack Overflow. Make sure and use one
of the following tags:

google-analytics — for general questions about Google Analytics.
google-analytics-api — for questions specific to one of the Google Analytics
APIs.

I have been looking to both links you sent me :
 - the Embed API
 - the server-side auth
for the past hours and it helped me a lot.

Thank you for answering to all of my questions
 =)
