Evan, I want to encourage you to not give up on home espresso! It's a personal preference thing, but IMO you don't need to get the best machine or have the perfect recipe to have a net win over other types of coffee. Especially once you learn the nuances of your machine. I'm super happy with how well I've learned to adjust my breville express, even with all the training wheels it comes with. It's built like a tank and super fast/easy once the settings are dialed in.

@typing-turtle I'm coming back around on this one after some more research. I'm going to try the breville express and see how it goes
