I'm sad to read that :-(
That's too bad, I learned a bunch of things from this project. You're super talented man :)
Hi,
I am a watcher of this project, I really loved the ideia of runtime.js, I am sad that is going to be unmaintained I think it would have a lot of potencial. But to be fair I have never contributed to the project and so I understand that it is dificult to keep going without some help, I wish you the best luck for all your projects and you have my total respect.
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication over this years.
@fsvieira Thank you! Yeah, I like how runtime.js can create immutable VM bundles that include OS and everything, but then I think containers (Docker) are pretty good for solving this problem. Anyway, it was a fun project to work on :)
Docker can do it, but why stick to a single solution? :-)

Can you update runtimejs.org accordingly?
WARNING: project is in development and not ready for production use.
@iefserge it's a great project. sad to see it go, but thanks for all the work you put into it and always being willing to answer questions! I echo the above in saying I learned a lot from this project!
Can I take over Runtime.js and maintain it?
JsOS continues Runtime.JS ;)
Can you give us a link to JsOS? https://github.com/sasha240100/JsOs, maybe?
sorry for the delayed response @FascinatedBox yep, sure will do @SpaceboyRoss01 what do you plan to do with it? I think there isn't a lot of community interest in a project like this, compared to the efforts required to maintain it. Also project may need a major rewrite to make multithreading reliable. Not sure it's worth it at this point.
Hi,
After this post I search for JsOS and found another project: https://github.com/charliesome/jsos it seems interesting but its lacking documentation.
I tell about JsOS =D
@iefserge Hello Can you join us at the Discord? We have some questions about runtime.js
To find new maintainership, may it be relocated to @abandonware org: https://abandonware.github.io/
https://github.com/abandonware/abandonware.github.io/issues/5
Thank you to everyone who made contributions to runtime.js!
It's obvious that project is not maintained anymore. I'm going to add "not maintained" label to the readme to make it clear.
It would require way too much time to support and maintain it in its current state. But feel free to email me if you're interested in doing anything with it.
