GIF animate problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. click a link that ends with .gif , for example:  
http://bbs.XXXX.edu.cn/***.gif

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I was supposed  to see an animated GIF file, but I only saw a single 
screenshot, maybe the first 
frame. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Welly 1.3 , Intel-based Mac OS X 10.5.5

Hi:)
To our shame that Welly doesn't support GIF Animation preview in current 
version. 
The reason for this problem is that now Welly uses the default previewer of Mac 
OS 
10.5, which doesn't support GIF animation preview. (To test this, simply select 
a 
animated GIF file in your Finder and press spacebar.)

However, there is an alternative solution for this problem (although might be a 
little bit ugly). You can press SHIFT when clicking the image's URL, this will 
force 
Welly use your default browser to open the image, and animations are OK there:)
