Sounds can't be disabled

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open settings
2. Uncheck "Sound Effects"
3. Enter a number

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect no sound, still get sound.  Didn't get sound in 1.96

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.0.1, Android, Galaxy S4

Please provide any additional information below.
The sound effects could be disabled on 1.96, but not on 2.0.1

This is probably a bug due to reintroduction of buttons. Needs further 
investigation.

Confirmed as bug. Swiping does not make any sounds when the setting is 
disabled. Digit buttons (including clear and undo) do not check the sound 
setting.
