Please restore ability to manually save games #230

The option to manually save games is gone!

Having that option is required for solving difficult puzzles without cheating
or hints. By saving a puzzle, one can try a "fork in the road" and back up if
that fork proves wrong. For some very difficult 9x9 puzzles, I sometimes saved
up to six times (i.e., the guesses were nested six deep) as I worked through
the puzzle.

Without the ability to save and restore, I'm left with only the option to ask
for a hint in a hard puzzle when I'm at a fork, which is repugnant to any true
puzzle-lover. So once again I have to walk away from my favorite app.

Sorry about that. You can not store intermediate versions of a puzzle which you
later can restore. Save and restore was never intended to do so. Alternatively
you can you undo (currently only available in landscape mode).

It might not have been intended for that use, but it worked perfectly. Any
chance you could offer a "mathdoku classic" which would simply be code from a
couple of revisions ago? Otherwise, I'll have to go with one of your inferior
competitors, which do offer save/restore.
