Provide button for New Game from main screen #54

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Enhancement request:

Since playing MathDoku is what we do over and over, it should be easier to
start a new game.

Suggestion: Replace the message "Press your device's 'Menu' button" by a button
for "New Game"

Current version = 1.95c on Android 2.3.6

Thanks!

Jerry

In the next major release the user interface will be revised entirely. It will
be made more easily to start a new game.

In revision205 the text "Press your device's 'Menu' button" has been replaced
with a button "Start here". This button however just opens the menu instead of
starting a new game directly.

In version 2.0 the "new game" button will be placed in the action bar upon
finishing a puzzle. While playing a game, this option is available in the
(overflow) menu.

Unfortunately the issue has not been verified explicitly by an independent
tester.
