mytouch q troubleshooting

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using the 77th version, I think. Which ever one is the most recent. And I'm 
using 2.3.y android on the lg mytouch q.
Please provide any additional information below.
For some reason, the app is always displayed horizontally, even when the qwerty 
keyboard that comes with my phone is closed and I'm holding the phone upward. 
When I go to options it is in portrait mode, like it should be. Just when I'm 
trying to use it. Also, after every game, the timer, which I turned off, 
constantly reappears. I love this game, and I'm very upset because its what I 
do like 40% of the time on my phone.

Tested in Revision 163: All issues around screen rotation/orientation appear to 
have been fixed in this version.
Also, Timer option seems is maintained correctly between games
