Between firmware progress and hardware mods we got happy 4g running rev F!

once we have rev G we shall just try as is first - with caps on C3, zero and proper firmware, using C3+C7
if above fail depending on how it fail we shall try C3+another switchable VR/hall pin not C7 input
if above fail depending on how it fail we shall try C7+another hall-only not C3 input
once all above fails, I will prepare 3 or more boards modded differently, I would label those better, and we would need a way not to let go of these boards until the end of troubleshooting.
