error message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object #20

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run the program with the "Drag file or URL here" box empty. 
2. drag a document of a URL in the box
3. wait until message "Unhanded exception has occurred in your application 
... Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The document or webpage is displayed in the main panel

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Built 2864

Please provide any additional information below.
I am not able to use the program at all.

when i hot add column to selected node i receive this msg 
object reference not set to an instance of an object

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
