Self Organization proposal #112

I would like to propose creation of the GitHub organization for Self language purposes.

Why

  1. Better visibility of the „official“ Self repository.
  2. Directory for the Self related modules and informations.

Visibility

Self is now developed under the russellallen account, which doesn't look too much official. When you look into the list of the Russell Allen's repositories, it is hard to say what is personal project and what is not.

It would just simply look better to have Self repository in the official group for Self language.

It is also easier to grant people specific write accesses to some repositories. You may create detailed groups with various settings.

Directory

The organization may also work as the directory of the Self-related projects. For example, it would make sense to move the papers from the Self's git repository and move them to it's own (Self repo size is 101MB, which is pain via mobile internet I am forced to use now).

It is also possible to fork / copy all Self related projects into this directory, so users may find them in one place.

For example, I would like to put there my repositories for CRC32, HTTP client and CheatSheet. It just feel weird and misplaced to have all this repositories sunken amongst many other under my account, when they are related to the Self (yes, I know about the Self projects page on wiki, but still).

Name

Self is taken. Possible combinations are:

How

I am willing to create the organization (I did it before), I just need a consensus - do you agree? Or is there any objections against this?

I'm in the middle of a pre Christmas work rush and can't really think this through just now but let's talk about it in the new year :)

And never happened. Then, the project died as soon as the sole developer got inactive.
