Updates regarding organizational structure

Further progress has been made on modernizing the process for organizing rustbridges to allow for information to be transmitted more easily and, most importantly, asynchronously.

The team has created a couple of helpful templates to facilitate event management.

@oe is going to work on integrating rustlings into the curriculum even further.

RustFest Rome

News item: The team will be holding a rustbridge at RustFest Rome. if anyone's on site and would like to help out either by teaching or assisting in other ways, please reach out to @oe!

Events @skade

RustFest announcement

RustFest has announced their CFP and we would be happy if you spread it wide and far: cfp.rustfest.eu selection is done by a committee this time: rustfest.eu/cfp-committee

RBR

RBR has announced their speakers and final ticket sales, helping them in spreading that would be great.

Train the Trainers Mexico/India

@sebasmagri is running a trainer training session in Mexico end of October, and there's a time for one in Bengalore, both of which are searching or trainers

People want to help can do this remotely! If anyone would be interested in participating please reach out! dates are 25th to 27th October. Send @sebasmagri a DM for more details

Direction for the team

@booyaa asked for guidence, specifically what direction should we take the team.

@ashleygwilliams suggested that we continue to focus on campaigns for blog post, reducing the emphasis on helping people write good blog posts, but rather call for blogposts, collections (of blog posts) and summaries. There was emphasis on that running campaigns as well as writing the summary blog post.

@skade also mentioned that campaigns could also help direct people towards the help section (URL?)

Access to the community calendar

@ashleygwilliams will seek guidence from the core team, but initially the rule of thumb is if the reason for adding an event is other than rust focus events (meetups, workshops or conferences) or is making money then it should not go into the calendar.
