This is a low effort PR. We have a good first time issue here if you would like to earn a shirt: #271 Basically, replacing try!() with ?

Ah, thought I had contributed here before (I had a fork set up and everything). Either way, this is still relevant; I'm just going through my local checkouts and backporting rust-lang/cargo#4944 as necessary.
