Registering an association. (legal entity)

Tasks

[ ] finalize required docs (like constitution) to be inline with our core ethos (@calvinkarundu )
[x] reach out to people familiar with registration and ask for help. (@maretekent )

Registering an Association Requirements:-

A constiution
Members List (minimum 10 - gov'mint names, IDs and signatures)
Meeting minutes covering conclusive:- 1 - Election of members to positions and 2 - Registration of the Society
A postal address
Filled out and signed gov'mint issue form A and form B (please find samples attached)
cost is about 2 KES and takes about 4 weeks to come thru (sans any potential back and forth due to erroneous application)
Stanbic does offer FREE accounts for NON-Profit Associations (but minimum balance of 5K KES) in both local and foreign currency. I would recommend opening both KES and USD.

@maretekent I'll work on sending you the revised constitution by Monday. I'll also reach out to a lawyer who had offered to help us pro bono :smiley:
