i3/Sway Tiling #2

Add tiling methods similar to i3 or sway.

So happy that I discovered this extension! Does exactly what I want, but it would be awesome to get i3 and binary tiling as well.

Any progress on that?

Honestly, gnome doesn't make it super simple to track workspace number and whatnot so binary and i3 style tiling is more difficult than I originally imagined. The code base here is also kind of a mess :joy: so I'm in the middle of re-writing it. I haven't put a whole lot of effort into any of the tiling methods other than the default spiral. At some point maybe I'll have more time to work on it, or some enterprising person will come along to help me. But my main focus right now is to get the code cleaned up reasonably well.

I've decided not to pursue anything other than spiral tilling for now.
