3 months ago this work was a great basis to get started; a similar inspired implementation has been merged into dev today (https://github.com/rvion/CushyStudio/pull/213) ; closing this PR for now
Good stuff in there ! Also, massive thanks for showing me everything blender does right, and for explaining to me your ideal menu/operator/shortcut/command system. I've started a small experiment in dev branch that partially overlap with what is done in this branch, so I won't merge it right now, but happy to leave that branch open, until I'm done with making sure everything you want is in Cushy; I'll probably cherry pick a few things, and come back to you to ask for feedback :)
