Extension is not showing for other users on hub #8

Hi,

I have embedded the extension on one of my app sheet. But it's not visible to other users.

Can you point me out what's the expected issue?

Hello Arsalan,

I assume you are referring to an app hosted on a Qlik Sense Server. When you create your personal contents they are not accessible to others unless you publish them (you might need to have privileges for that given by your administrator).

One important comment, once published, the server may overrule the d-hoc capabilities. Your colleagues might need to copy the sheet for their personal area. Here is a link that explains how to: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/3.1/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sheets/duplicate-sheet.htm

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply.

But the issue is different. My app is already published and the other users who are accessing have the Content admin rights.

It's strange that when I open my app with my user with in the server so the extension work ok. But i come out of the server and accessing the app so every things work fine except the extension.

Can u share me your direct contact or skype address so that I can show you the problem.

Within the server extensions worked find for my user but when i accessing from outside the server so the extension is not showing to my user as well.

That is odd, but it does seem related to a security issue or could it be that it was not correctly installed?

Also, my recommendation is to go to the QMC and do an Audit for Extensions and look if indeed your users have access or not.
