In this issue we discussed multiple tags relacted to information handling.
Gather information
Gathering information is usually understood as a feature where the player can talk to NPCs or collect items that give the player information. In many cases this is done automatically, resulting in an update of saved information for example in the form of a diary. Understandably this feature is mostly predefined in the form of premade notes. Alternatively the player needs to remember important details himself outside of the game, only in rare instances the game provides the option to save notes and information freely. In some cases this requires the player to process information and evaluate himself what is important and what is not (Gothic 3, Strange horti Culture).
Hide information
When hiding information it needs to be differentiated between the permanent and optional hiding, for example in the form of layers. Sorting the information according to relevance.
