This originated from Dota 2 where you have comsumable and non consumable items and skills. To clarify it might be usefull to add a clear definition and differentiation.

We decided to add mng: materials to account for games in which the player uses resorces to obtain persitant gain. This does for example include building games in which resouces are used to buy or build buildings. We also decided to split mng: skills and items into two seperate tags and add a tag for managing inventory space.
