Some games provide blueprints that allow the player to reuse informations already aquired or even copy paste parts that the player already did in the game for example when building a structure. Multiple fine grained differences can be found for this feature: Some games only provide predefined blueprints, that can be reused but not modified. Other games allow to specify custom blueprints. These fall into the cathegory of templates. Similar features are marker blueprints where the player can mark an area for later without actually using it, or recipes which provide an easy tool for saving requirement information.
