When the package is being downloaded, //var/cache/package is shown. Something aesthetic, nothing that changes the functionality. thks.
Yeah, I don't like it either, but the time/effort required to wade through the mass of spaghetti to fix that isn't worth it to me. It's a side effect of allowing alternate $ROOT
