Colonists with lovers or husbands or whatever in other factions are annoying. Because they never speak or interact, they'll always be at +35 relation. Which means that no one will ever hit on them because their relationship with their lover is over +5. And often those pawns will never actually show up to your colony, so you can't recruit or kill them.
To make this more realistic, whenever colonists are on different maps, add a -5 to their relationship every quadrum, to a maximum of the amount their relation normally adds to their opinion. This will eventually bring it down to +0 so other people can hit on them.
