Cannot enter to the Deep Dark, teleportation loop to the Overworld #295

Hello,

On our server, the teleportation to another world is too long and when a player try to enter in the Deep Dark, it spawns exactly at the portal that make him return to the Overworld. Is there an option to make that the player has to sneak in order to use the portal, like before ?

i'm having the same issue. by the time the deep dark appears, the portal there is already active and the player is returned to the overworld. after standing on the portal it takes 20 seconds for the deep dark to appear, it only shows for a split second and then it switches back to the dimension transition screen.

in vanilla, the nether portals don't activate unless you leave them and return. doesn't the eu2 portal do have the same logic?
