It doesn't appear well documented, but when a transfer node is attached to a block/machine receiving a redstone signal, the node stops transferring. Therefore, transfer nodes can be categorised as active LOW.
This is a useful feature, but it'd be great to have it documented in the manual. Additionally, an upgrade that would be able to disable or invert this behaviour would be appreciated, so as to make active-HIGH builds more compact.
