Id mismatches AND missing log file #1336

I started a private Minecraft server for my friends and I, but I cannot connect to it from my own computer! I have a plan (depending on how simple the solutions to the problems are) for how my friends will be able to access the server. However, whenever I try to get on, it says "Forge has found ID mismatches. See log file for more info". I cannot locate the "log file" (unless it means the server logs, which are blank). So I need help A) Locating the mod file and B) Figuring out how to fix the item ID issues. I have written down a list of all the Ids listed, if that would help. If you read this, please respond soon! Thank you!

I'm back! The launcher is Curse, right?

How do I install it? I'm trying to create a custom file, but how do I do it?

I am on the server! However, the quests are not showing up in the questbook, despite the questbook being in my inventory, and the HQM modpack being enabled

Am now getting an error when I open the server where it keeps spamming "generating new properties file" and it is spamming the server text with "at hq.(a or b, it's alternating)SourceFile:52(or 42, again, it is alternating). It is most likely the hqm mod, which is essential, so what should I do?

That problem is gone, old problem is back. I can't use the questbook
