Magnum Torch not preventing Slime spawns #415

Unsure if this is an issue, the only information I was able to find about the Magnum Torch was that it prevented hostile mob spawns not caused by a spawner.

Currently, I'm running DW20 1.7.10 v1.0.1, I added Random Things mod (2.2.0) and FastCraft (1.9). I noticed after placing a few Magnum Torches around my base, a nearby Bayou biome spawns slimes (Blue, Green, and King Slimes) at surface level at an excessive rate.

I know BoP causes the surface spawn and the rate at which they spawn is due to a lack of other mob entities in the vicinity. What I'm not sure of is if the Magnum Torch is supposed to prevent slimes from spawning. If this is working as intended, please disregard.

Edit: The version of Extra Utils in the DW20 pack I'm using is 1.1.0k

I'm also seeing this behaviour, my Magnum Torches aren't preventing Slimes from spawning.

I also have this issue, exactly as Surphis has described. My base is in a Lush Swamp biome.

I'm running the Direwolf20 Pack v1.1.1, which has Extra Utilities v1.2.2. I would say that slimes are hostile, since they do damage at larger sizes AND trample crops AND make a ton of Splotch, Splat noises. :)
