Some keyboard remap isn't saved when quitting Multitouch. #133

upstroke-version commented 2 years ago

On 'Multitouch → Keyboard/Mouse → Keyboard remap', when I set custom keyboard shortcut as an action for keyboard remap for PageDown key, the setting is lost when I quit multitouch or reboot the system.

this might be related to this issue. https://github.com/rxhanson/Multitouch-Community/issues/46

Thanks for reporting. I'll slate this one for the next release.

Hi. For me this issue also happens even without closing Multitouch.app at all. So it's just disappearing (for me it's one Shortcut) over time.

Short update. Looks like the bug is happening also when Multitouch stays open, but macOS is locked. After unlock the keyboard remap (not all) are gone.

Please try this beta with a fix: https://www.multitouch.app/beta/multitouch1.27.10.dmg

The shortcuts were not being stored, so you will need to record the shortcut when you try this one.

Looks like it is solved. Everything is working fine at the moment.

Any update, when a new 'final' release will be out?

rxhanson commented 1 year ago

Not quite yet (I'm currently working on a new app), but hopefully soon.

In regard to beta releases - those are actually identical to normal releases and there's no separate release track for betas, so there are no issues with remaining on a beta until the next "official" release is out the door. A lot of times, I just mark a beta as an official release.

Understand. Thx for the feedback.
