Hello all,

I am having the issue described in the title bar. The issue resolves itself after < 30 seconds. The behavior is a bit odd, so I wanted to see if it could be fixed and report the issue.

Thanks for reporting and including logs. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this. Any chance you could take a quick screen recording so I understand precisely what's going on?

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the reply. I actually just did attempt to do so, but I discovered that it's only doing this on my external display.

I figured screen recording both laptop + display was going to be a hassle to view so I switched to my macbook only. There is no issue on just the macbook itself with the cable disconnected. So the external display must be involved here.

I just tried to capture this visually with the external display involved, however when I'm screen recording, Rectangle oddly works. When I'm not recording, Rectangle breaks 10-60 seconds and then starts working again.

Additionally, after I rebooted Safari it worked on the external display with no issue whatsoever. I have quit safari multiple times before and even freshly booted the mac multiple times. So despite that the problem is reproducible over time, for me at least.

Just following up on this because I am actually getting other resize issues with just my mac. Like the left and right split screen doesn't do only half the screen.

Thoughts on what it could be?
