#630 Unable to obtain window id - not solved #749

MacBook Pro M1 macOS version:12.2 and previous Rectangle version: 0.50 and previous Logs if applicable (In Rectangle menu, hold option, "View Logging..."):

"2022-02-06T19:49:31+01:00: Unable to obtain window id"

The error occurs after restarting from suspend mode ("Ruhezustand" in German version). Rectangle does not react any more, only a beep sound if I try to apply shortcuts. Stopping and restarting rectangle does not help Restarting Mac removes issue until next suspend.

Unfortunately, this type of issue is likely not something that can be fixed within Rectangle, and would have to be fixed macOS side.

The only thing you could try doing that might have any effect would be to uncheck the box for "Snap windows by dragging". It's unlikely that this would change anything, but it's worth a shot.

Closing this one out since it is unfortunately something I don't see fixing from Rectangle side. Feel free to comment further if there's any updates or more info on this one.
