[FR] Different app layouts based on window title

It would be awesome if we could specify a window title regex to match against when configuring app layouts. I often have multiple windows open for the same app and currently rectangle resizes/moves all of them.

Being able to setup multiple rules for the same app matching against different titles would really level-up this feature for my workflow.

Thanks of the feedback. There is a limitation here in that not all window titles in macOS are exposed by means that a 3rd party can obtain. This would likely have to be communicated to the user in the UI somehow. I usually prioritize other features above ones that require UI communication, but will keep this on my backlog.

For anyone dealing with this issue for Chrome, here is a work around. Within Chrome you can make an App from a specific URL. This gives you an App with its own name, which you can pin to a display or what not. https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/3060053?hl=en
