Window Trackpad gestures will not work with this macOS Setting Enabled

Went through a good amount of time to try to find out why my trackpad gestures were not working once i first installed the app. I restarted the app and enabled disabled multiple times in privacy while restarting my mac. then tried to remember all possible gestures i had enabled like 3 finger drag etc., and finally found the problem.

If you have this setting enabled in macOS ventura then it will not work out of the box

I had to turn it off and finally it worked.

Would be great if you could add the option for some haptic feedback when you are choosing a window throw :)

Thanks for reporting this. I'll have to see if I can add in some sort of warning when the zoom setting is enabled in macOS.

The public haptic feedback API only allows really weak haptic feedback, which is why I've never prioritized it. Last I looked, I think there was a private API that allowed higher magnitude haptic feedback, but I avoid private frameworks. I use haptic feedback in Charmstone to denote going from near to far (like window throw to long throw), but it's so weak that I hardly ever notice it's there and that's why I don't see it being very beneficial here.

ah, i guess im just used to whats available from the dropover app where you drag files into it and also the macbook notch. feels really nice dropping in it. btt also allows it but im guessing thats not public api there.

if you do change your mind to add it , i think itd be a welcomed addition for snap areas @rxhanson

@ocreturner Thank you Thank you! Here I am ripping my hair out wondering why the gesture isn't working on my work computer yet works perfectly at home! I'm sure I went through the same back tracking to resolve the issue, except I have keyboard Maestro and Multitouch and better touch tool and CommandPost to sort through as well. But hey, I even just installed Dropover. !
