Trying to use the Window Throw modifier keys on a mouse button... almost works

I use USB Overdrive so I programmed my middle mouse button to be the modifiers control and command. When I press and hold the mouse button I get the red dot, but moving the mouse does nothing. No shaded boxes appear. I know this is an edge case but it would be great to use. anything I might need to look into so I can make it work?

USB Overdrive is probably not applying those modifiers to the mouse moved events, which are what the Window Throw listens to. I take it there's something preventing you from using the mouse button configuration for the Window Throw that's built into Rectangle Pro?
