I had been using Rectangle for over a year when I finally found this.
Snap areas are irritating for sizes that are nearly as large as the screen.
It would be handy if this menu item appeared all the time and showed "No profiles saved" when there are not any profiles (so the feature is easier to discover).
Or, at least, enable it when the first custom settings are created.
And/or put the menu settings right on the settings page for "Custom Size & Position"
If it's always on, it's OK to have a preference to remove it - but I think it is much more intuitive to discover the useful feature of custom profiles if it is enabled by default.
