Hey there!

First of all, big congratulations on your work here :) You've made a really nice editor and I see that it is being actively developed and improved, which is nice. Hopefully it will be a good competitor to Sublime in the near future!
Since my C skills are not great and I don't know Lua (I intend to learn it tho), I thought I could help some other way, by giving you a nice treat and incentive in the form of money. So, I think it would be nice to setup a little section in the README file with instructions on how to donate, maybe via PayPal and Bitcoin or something along those lines, if you're willing to accept donations. I have to stress again that this is a really cool project and I'd like to want to develop into a more popular alternative to the current scenario and I feel that a little financial incentive is always a nice thing, besides being the only way I can help at the moment.

Thanks!

I think GitHub sponsors would be a good fit in this case, I think GitHub is even matching donations for now, so it's effectively double what you'd get from just PayPal or something.

@pta2002 I took your suggestion and set up github sponsors for my account.

In regard to one-off contributions I could make a project page for lite on itch.io which would allow people to "pay what they want" if there's any interest in this.

+1 for creating a project page for lite on itch.io.

I can also agree on the itch.io idea, but I've just checked and they currently do not support Bitcoin as a payment since Stripe dropped it, so I think you could also provide an address for people that want to donate via BTC (like me :P).
