Unable to boot after installing T2 on qemu virtual machine #144

I'm trying to test T2sde and contribute, but i couldn't install yet the most recent version. The most recent one I manage to install is t2-22.6.

I noticed that the newer versions could not generate /etc/fstab correctly in any of the partitioning configurations I tested.

I'm using Fedora 38, and QEMU emulator version 7.2.6 (qemu-7.2.6-1.fc38) emulating a x86_64 machine:

# qemu-img create -f raw t2-23.12.raw 10G
qemu-system-x86_64 \
  -boot menu=on -cpu host \
  -drive file=t2-23.12.raw,format=raw \
  -m 4G,slots=4,maxmem=6G \
  -smp 4 \
  -machine pc,accel=kvm,nvdimm=on \
  -enable-kvm \
  -nic user,hostfwd=tcp::2222-:22 \
  -device VGA,edid=on,xres=720,yres=480 -daemonize \
  -cdrom $HOME/Downloads/t2-23.12-x86-64-clang-minimal-firefox-clang-glibc-nocona.iso

After partitioning, the installer show:

20231207_03h31m12s_grim-edited

I don't know how to investigate this problem, I'm trying to learn something from it. Thank you for your dedication to making such an interesting distribution. I'll be happy if I can help with anything soon.

Not sure what happened there, I would have thought I tested those. But we have brand new and "working for me" 23.12 ISO out: https://dl.t2sde.org/binary/2023/
