The developer will need to set a CLOSE span in the top right of the drawer. The developer may benefit from reaching out to Anthony Walker who was tasked with something similar for the dashboard drawer.

having difficulty adding button functionality (let alone button positioning) ..may have something to do with how the modal is displayed?
