Total session count varies depending on whether a dimension is used #714

Issue summary:

Total session count in filtered report for certain profiles varies wildly 
depending on whether a dimension is used

Steps to reproduce issue:
1. Perform a query for total session count between 2015-08-02 and 2015-08-08 
for profile 78277323, with filter "ga:pagePath=~^/stores"
2. Perform the same query again with user type as the dimension

Expected output:
Similar total session count for all results

Actual results:
In first query, total session count for all results is 137304; in second, it is 
246257

Notes:
I see the result I expect if I disable the filter. I have tried similar queries 
on other profiles and not seen such a wild disparity. Raw JSON responses for 
these queries is attached.
