Purchase The App

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install the free version
2.Try to purchase the App from the market
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You would have the option to purchase, but you only have the option to open the 
App

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 6 on Honeycomb 3.0

Please provide any additional information below.

I wish to support developement by paying for the App, so do we have to 
uninstall the free version to install the paid version? Also will we receive 
update notices with the paid version, as I do not with the free version.

The market (paid) version is automatically updated by the Android market. The 
free version is available here (on the google code web page) but you have to 
update it manually. They are the same apk.

It would be nice if the Android market would give the user the option to switch 
to the paid version but unfortunately it does not and there is nothing I can do 
about it.

In summary, you have to uninstall the free version to buy the market version. 
Make sure you save your notes before uninstalling (Use Menu->Export->"All notes 
as Quill archive"), since all app private data is erased by the uninstall.
