Hi rpflorence I made it work with packager-web and included it as submodule in http://github.com/eerne/packed . The submodule currently points to my repo but it would be great if I could point to your repo. I'm planing to add more and more components to packed. Maybe your carousel would be nice to go in there as well. (note that packed currently needs the 1.3wip branch)

Somehow some changes didn't go into my pull request, especially the addition in package.yml see http://github.com/eerne/SlideShow/blob/master//package.yml

I will try to merge with your current verision and send a new pull request.
