unprecedented actions #6

In response, countries around the world have taken a series of unprecedented actions.

I think you should change unprecedented to something that references the 1918 Influenza (I note that the scientific community try to avoid calling it "Spanish Flu"). There were similar lockdowns then, similar arguments against and for them too, and cases exploded when they were lifted - could be a very good case study. Good stats here: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/03/four-lessons-the-spanish-flu-can-teach-us-about-coronavirus

ASIDE: I note that the article says:

“You still have politicians like Boris Johnson saying they’re happy to shake hands. Just stop shaking hands,” said Honigsbaum.

Johnson is our (UK's) Prime Minister, who was hospitalised last week after contracting COVID - the irony is strong here.
