Errors happening in the C part are propagated to Java part, but there is no 
detail information what really happened.

I have this error too. This liblary is very often crash...

Please provide more info about the crash (source stream - if it happens 
regularly...)
BTW this issue#2 is about enhancing the API, not about a real bug.
