Hi! It's so great to meet you. Thanks for reaching out!
I work with rymlks on our 4D engine, although he's done most of the work.
I was reading one of your zhihu answers the other day but my Mandarin is not nearly good enough to understand anything but the equations. 😅
I had already started writing you an email, as a matter of fact! I'll send that out in just a bit to get us all acquainted.
Hi Sawalls, You two did a great job! And I'm glad that you're interested in my answer in Zhihu. The answer was to explain the 4D scene mentioned in The Three-Body Problem , a hard sci-fi written by Cixin Liu. I'm still working on the repo. There are many interesting works can be created in the 4D world, not limited to the scenes in the fiction. But some mathematical tools should be finished first(here is an example of a solved one). I believe you also solved a lot of problems during the work on this repo. It would be inspiring that we can share our problems, solutions and ideas!
Hey, nice to meet you too!
I'm Rick, the owner of the Somewhere Else repo.
Thanks for the kind words! I thought your ray tracing repo was very exciting - we've been talking about trying a ray tracing implementation for a while before we saw yours. Particularly in the references I saw you had some very, very useful information that I wish I knew enough math to fully understand. Particularly the rotation matrix decomposition work was something I've been struggling to find an answer to. I'll keep at it until I understand though!
We'll definitely have to get in touch and talk about everything. This project has taken up quite a bit of my mind in the last year or two, haha.

Hi rymlks, I'm also working on 4D graphics. I noticed your star on my 4d ray tracing repo, which is partially inspired by your work. Do you mind building a connection with me? I believe we would have a lot fun discussing those topics! Here is my email: siuhangchanxx@gmail.com
