does this application available in windows OS?

ryouchinsa commented 3 years ago

Thanks for writing the issue.

We understand that the Windows version is requested by our users but at this moment, we are working on the iPadOS version. After releasing the iPadOS version, to expand our business, we would reconsider whether we develop the Windows version or not.

We have an attitude to contribute to your industry.

Any progress on Windows version? It would be great to have.

Currently we are still working on some important feature requests, such like a gallery view. https://twitter.com/rectlabel/status/1594825553307398144 After finishing those important feature requests, we will start working on the Windows version.

@ryouchinsa , That's great. Can't wait to work with it. Remember to make a portable version as well (For Windows).

Hi @ryouchinsa , as I do my AI work on Linux, would you consider a version for Linux too? I tried RectLabel on my virtual Mac OS on my Linux laptop but due to a lack of GPU acceleration I cant really use it yet.

We are having a feature request for the Ubuntu version. They say most of the people working with PyTorch/TensorFlow would use it as well because of the Nvidia GPUs.

Sorry, I did not see the feature request so I hijacked this feature request thread instead 😆 . Perhaps I should have made my own.

You are correct about the use case. It is easier and better supported to run with CUDA / CUDNN acceleration required for PyTorch and Tensorflow on Linux than on Windows. Which is propitiatory for Nvidia cards (unfortunately). I found there to be a lack of a polished, local tool compatible with Linux which is as complete as RectLabel. That said, there are simply many times more Windows users than Linux users and you have a product to sell. All I hope is you are able to do it one day.

For now I will use an old Macbook 😆 .
