Change in github.com/ryppl/git.git has been incorporated in official git repo.

Good idea, but right now Boost is going through its transition to Git and I don't want to touch anything. Maybe in a few weeks. Please feel free to bump this ticket.

Sounds good. I just noticed when I rebased my clone of ryppl/git onto changes from the official git repository, git said the change had already been applied.

Also, wanted to practice pull requests for use in making changes to boostorg repos :-).
