Hello, in the following website im dessigning, i have an issue with rcarousel

The containers below with the images and the sliding boxes have defined by css a blue border (border: 2px solid #3990ae;)
however when using the carousel and setting the options on the div class the blue border isn't shown
i have tried and checked all possibilities but im not sure if im missing something dumb or not but i can't figure it out
