Ryzom Core is the open-source project related to the Ryzom game. This community repository is synchronized with the Ryzom Forge repository, based on the Core branch.
Today I launch the game and I saw an error message saying that I have to chage my password.
Ok, why not, even if I am pretty sure forcing users to change there password will not improve security.
I follow the link https://secure.ryzom.com/payment_profile I change my password, than I'v a warning saying that my password is to long. Yes, the size limite is 8 chars for the password.
NOTE : When I create my account last month, I set a 12 chars password without any problem, no warning, nothing… I've used my 12 chars password everyday to connect to the game, apps, forum…
PS : I'm not sure if I'm in the right place for this bug…
