We need to improve the existing Ryzom App framework that exists in the open source repository. The changes should remain API-compatible but the framework can change. The desired functionality is:

Managing per-app access via privileges.
A way to manage apps by enabling or disabling them dynamically. Apps should not require modifications of the framework code in order to be introduced.
An admin app (non-account) that allows admins to manage this.

Is there anybody working on the app framework ? And what about the public API ?

Ben,

There's a separate idea/issue for a realtime backend API.

There is currently no one working on these but they are open ideas for GSoC students and community members
