FTP Write Speed #310

I'm trying to use MacVim with Transmit Disk, which mounts ftp servers as local 
drives.

Problem is, MacVim takes incredibly long to write files to the external disk, 
whereas other editors (textwrangler, textmate) can write instantly...

any ideas?

Try asking on the vim_dev or vim_use Google Groups.  I can't answer this 
question.
