MacVim not working on Mavericks #485

I cannot seem to get MacVim to work on Mavericks. I get a message saying 
"'MacVim' can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer." Any 
suggestions on how to get around this or what can be done?

First, make sure you have the latest snapshot from 
https://github.com/b4winckler/macvim/releases

To work around the "unidentified developer" you just have to right click (or 
two-finger click on a trackpad) on the MacVim app icon and select "Open".  
Another dialog pops up which allows you to open the app anyway.
