Enhancement: Larger Tabs in Fullscreen mode #486

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Open MacVim in Fullscreen mode with multiple tabs oben. When trying to select
different tabs with the mouse the drop-down menu hides the entire tabs. So
every time I try to select a tab I have to move the mouse carefully to the top
and take care not touch the upper limit of the screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The "perfect solution": Like the new *Finder* in Maverick. :)
As this is bug report and several workaround solutions might be:
 - Bigger Tabs. So a tab could be selected even though the menu is currently dropped.
 - The option position the tabs differently (e.g. on the bottom )
 - Allow (the option) to waste some upper 10px in black for the menu bar ...

What version of MacVim and OS X are you using:
I encountered the problem with several versions. I'm up to date with mavericks
and Snapshot 72

Please provide any additional information below.
The same problem occurs with the Terminal app from Mac (Mountain Lion,
Mavericks), but no one seems to complain so far.
